Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

This policy explains how Homeglass ("Homeglass", "we", "us") handles information when you use the Homeglass app for iPhone and the website homeglass.app (together, the "Service"). It covers what stays on your iPhone, what we collect and why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

The short version. Calendar, Reminders, Health, location and Photos are read on your iPhone and never sent to us or to any AI. What you type to build or change a widget is sent to an AI model, and AI providers may keep it or use it to improve their models, so don't type anything sensitive into a request. You can use Homeglass without giving your name or email, and you can delete your account from the app at any time.

1. Information that stays on your iPhone

When a widget shows your calendar, reminders, health data (such as steps, sleep and activity rings), location, weather or photos you pick, the app reads that information on your iPhone to draw the widget. It is not sent to our servers, to AI models or to anyone else. Health data is never used for AI of any kind, including on your iPhone. Weather is provided by Apple's WeatherKit on your device. Each type of data asks for your permission the first time a widget needs it, and you can turn access off at any time in the iPhone Settings app.

The widgets you make are saved on your iPhone and shared with the Homeglass widget on the same device. They are not stored on our servers.

2. Information we collect

InformationHow we use it
Account identifier. A random ID created the first time you use a feature that needs our server. No name, email or phone number is needed. To run your account, keep your connections and settings, apply plan limits, and link your purchases.
Requests to the AI builder. The words you type to build or change a widget, the design of the widget being changed (including text you've put in it), the names of the data sources it uses, and your choices such as size and look.Sent to an AI model to build or change your widget (see section 3). We don't store the text of your requests on our servers.
Usage records. When you use the AI builder: the date and time, which model was used, the number of tokens, the cost and whether it worked. No request text.To apply the free plan's weekly limit, prevent abuse and manage costs. Deleted after 90 days.
Data from apps you connect. If you connect an app such as Gmail, Google Calendar or Todoist, the items your widget shows (for example unread email subjects and senders, upcoming events or tasks).Fetched by our server to show in your widget and cached briefly. Connections are read-only: Homeglass can't send, change or delete anything in those apps.
Data links and feeds. The address of a feed or a JSON or CSV link you add, any key you add for it, and the data it returns. To fetch the data your widget shows. Keys are stored encrypted and only ever sent to that link's own website.
Purchase information. Whether you have Homeglass Pro, the plan, and its renewal or expiry date.To give you Pro. Apple processes payments; we never receive your card or bank details.
Name and email (optional). Only if you choose Sign in with Apple. Apple lets you hide your email address. To keep your connected apps when you move to a new iPhone.
Support messages. Anything you send us by email. To answer you.

We don't collect your contacts, browsing history, precise location, advertising identifier or health data. The website homeglass.app uses no cookies, analytics or trackers; our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security.

3. AI processing

To build or change a widget in the cloud, we send your request (described in section 2) to a large language model through OpenRouter, a service that routes requests to model providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and DeepSeek. Before anything is sent, the app removes your calendar and reminders list names, your photos, and the addresses and keys of your data links. We never send your calendar events, reminders, health data, photos, location or email contents.

If you turn on Let the AI see these values when setting up a data link, a few example values from that link are included so the AI can design around them. It's off unless you turn it on.

AI providers may retain requests and may use them to improve their models, under their own terms and policies. Please don't include sensitive personal information (such as health details, passwords or financial account numbers) in what you type. Small changes, like colours, wording and showing or hiding parts, are made by Apple's on-device model where your iPhone supports it, and those requests don't leave your iPhone.
